What Our Families and Residents Say

“The staff at Sugarbush worked long and hard to take care of our mother. Her illness presented many challenges along the way- challenges that our family could not have handled at home. Because The Sugarbush House was located so close to our house and the hours could be flexible, Mom was able to be comforted with a visit at a moment’s notice when she was stressed. We shared many holidays and birthday celebrations there and we started to think of some of the other people living or working at The Sugarbush House as family, too. We felt that a placement at Sugarbush was a kind of partnership and knew that nothing is perfect in this world. If we had concerns we brought them to the staff and worked them out. When she first became ill, we took Mom to look at several facilities, from Montrose to Linden, and then we let Mom choose her new home. We now know that she chose wisely and we are certain that Sugarbush House was the best possible place for her to live.”

“Once you and your family make the heart-wrenching decision to move a loved one into an assisted living facility…the next wave of anxiety and apprehension begins when you start to look for a place your loved one can get the best care, be comfortable, content, and can call home. That place is Sugarbush. The care given by the amazing staff is personalized and tailored to the needs of each resident. The exceptional facilities are incredibly clean, comfortable and homey. our loved one becomes part of a new family…and so do you. In difficult times, it was a blessing for our family to find a place like Sugarbush for our brother Paul. We will forever be grateful for the love and care they gave him. Go see for yourself. Call Sugarbush and arrange a visit. You won’t regret it.”

“Everyone at Sugarbush is so good to me. I’m so lucky! The surroundings are nice and quiet. I see deer, birds, and squirrels all the time. It’s the perfect place to relax and read, which I love to do. The building with all the windows is beautiful and cheerful. The food is wonderful with good variety.”
